Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

I don't have HBO and it doesn't look like my cable provider is being so nice as to offer it free today. Ah, well.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Is this the concert that Fall Out Boy is playing in? They are in some "youth" inaugural concert.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Go for morning virtuousity!

We were able to drag the virtues into the early afternoon as Emmett, Matilda and I walked down to Haight Street to go to the bookstore. Virtue was discarded at the cafe where Emmett had an apple Danish and Matilda had a madeleine and I got more coffee. This seemed to merely whet their appetites though since it was followed by a non-virtuous stop at the pizza place where Emmett and Matilda split a slice.

But then a longish (toddlerish, dawdlerish) walk to the bookstore where Emmett bought Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3: The Last Straw and Matilda declared that the teeny, tiny, just right for her hands, Eric Carle book (Favorite Words) was going home with her.

She conked out on my shoulder on he way home and is napping on the couch. Emmett's got his nose deep into the book.

Compassionately intolerant

I hate to overstate this, but now may be the first time in my adult life when I believe 'This Land Is MyLand" actually applies to me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am at woprk. Primed and now have finished painting the first coat on the accent wall in my new office. A pear green. (about a year ago they put in a door leading to the server room, and they never repainted the wall). Looks nice!

Now I goof around on the interwebs until I can do the last coat, go home, and watch the concert we are TiVoing. Can't wait!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Bless his 90 year old heart. He talked more than he sang andI can't see his fce but you could hear the joy in his voice.

He visited the March 5 times. God. I love him.

Beyonce sounds a little choked up. As did Ashley Judd.

blessblessbless.
