I hate to overstate this, but now may be the first time in my adult life when I believe 'This Land Is MyLand" actually applies to me.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am at woprk. Primed and now have finished painting the first coat on the accent wall in my new office. A pear green. (about a year ago they put in a door leading to the server room, and they never repainted the wall). Looks nice!

Now I goof around on the interwebs until I can do the last coat, go home, and watch the concert we are TiVoing. Can't wait!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Is this the concert that Fall Out Boy is playing in? They are in some "youth" inaugural concert.

No, that one's Tuesday evening.

Bless his 90 year old heart. He talked more than he sang andI can't see his fce but you could hear the joy in his voice.

He visited the March 5 times. God. I love him.

Beyonce sounds a little choked up. As did Ashley Judd.

blessblessbless.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Good morning Buffistas! I seem to have discovered a miracle cure for cramps, although it involves taking a prescription muscle relaxer not for the purpose intended. I took a half a flexeril prescribed for my back plus 2 ibuprofen and had relief for 10 hours! I am usually taking 4 - 6 ibuprofen every 4 hours and not getting full pain relief.

So now I wonder if I should try to get my Dr. to prescribe them for cramps or if I should try to go to Canada where they are OTC. When I was a kid in the eighties, everyone's mom seemed to have muscle relaxers for their period, but they don't seem to give them out like candy anymore.

I did the same thing! I discussed it with my ObGyn and he gave me a perscription for enough Flexoril for the first two nights of my period. It knocks me out cold so I can only do it at night and the first two are the worst.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Gah. Mac slept over with a friend last night, it is the third time he has slept over at this friend's place. Each time, I have had a commitment the next day where I need to pick mac mac up or have him home by a certain time. The last 2 times I was picking him up, so I just called when I was leaving, I WOKE the parents up both times. This time I walked him over yesterday (a mile and a half in 20 degree weather) and thought they said they would drive him back today. I made sure to tell them more than once when I needed him home today. Well when it was 10 min to the time he needed to be here, I called. No, they had not left, no they were not ready, she was cooking a meal for them all - the boys (and not just hers and mine, but more who had come over, boys I do not know) had been up until 4AM! WTF lady. I asked her to bring him home and explained that other people were coming here to see him, we had plans which I had explained yesterday, it is important to me that we keep our word with people who are traveling to see us. LAST TIME. No more sleepovers at that house.

ION, I have re-grouted the parts of my shower that needed it, and I didn't even mess up my nails. I guess I'll know in a week or so if it is gonna stay in.
