Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Smooth-move~ma

This made me laugh as "Smooth Move" is also the name of a tea with laxative properties.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm spending most of this splendid day inside in class, but I ran around at OSV yesterday, so I got a really good outdoor day behind me now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seska, sara just bought her new house. Her first house, which is contributing to her stress level, as you can imagine.

Congrats on next date, msbelle.

Me, I fainted last night and hit my head and my nose and bled over my beige carpet (OxyClean is the only thing coming close to removing the mark, but you can still see it), and wrenched the holy high hell out of my bad knee that had gotten so much better. Need to make for the Aleve and the wishing.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Now tagless for your comfort.

ita, do you have any liquid hydrogen peroxide? That should definitely take blood out. And I hope you're alright.

information libertarian

Shooting in my neighborhood: [link]

The location is about 4 blocks from my house. Three people killed, suspect, a UGA professor, on the loose. This is a very small town; someone we know just wrote a grant with him. Hope this wasn't where our friends' dance recital was this afternoon.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Her first house, which is contributing to her stress level, as you can imagine.

Indeed. We're not up to buying yet - we were looking, but have decided to put it off for now. But moving sucks, generally. (I use a wheelchair so need accessible places, and we've moved a lot. It's a frequently recurring nightmare.) *Ouch* on the fainting and knee - hope Aleve does the trick.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

ita, I wish I had the ability to design a Weeble device for you.

That's very scary, Flea.

I think my vacuum cleaner is dead, or nearly so. I shut it off when it started smelling like smoke. I'd love a Roomba, but it might take as much effort to prevent the thing from choking on cat toys as it would to just push a vacuum around.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think I may have unwittingly flirted my way into free drinks at lunch today. I was just smiling because I'm happy, and was only as courteous as usual, but my waitress (whom I do not know) started blushing and comped part of my ticket.
