This is a time of celebration, so sit still and be quiet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My sabbath-observant co-worker is on her way out the door (late?), which always makes me feel like my work day is over as well. Also, I turned in my deadline piece already. And cancelled the big project I was supposed to be working on for next Wednesday. I could get started on the next thing, but why bother??

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So us chronic insomniacs have wide range of fun choices! Hallucinate from sleep deprivation, hallucinate from too much caffeine, or hallucinate from the prescription medication you took in hopes of falling asleep sooner. Awesome!

Truer words.

Add in that Ambien has started to mess with my head before knocking me unconscious

It really is a choice of the lesser evil sometimes. Well, more a roll of the dice.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If it gets us THE SCOLA, I can totally live with that.

Art Crawl!!!

They continued our Wind Chill until Midnight because the warmer air hasn't really come through yet AND it's getting windier.

(And yes - the temperature went up to -2.6 and has now fallen to -5 again.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just went to a window, and it is totally still light out! Very exciting.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Liese inspired me. I just emailed the sustainability people at the MTA.

Yay! Go you!

Also, jealous of the people having THE SCOLA.

Punishingly Intricate

Braved the cold to get a hot chocolate and some cashews! And I'm glad I did. YUM! And I hope my snacking needs are satisfied for a while because I have to go home, then to Wilmington to drop off my dog, then to Philly to meet up with boyfriend at his friends' there. That means no dinner for a long, long time.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I was in the new JetBlue terminal -- now I'm on the plane. Kind of sad that I didn't get a chance to look around.
