You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Liese inspired me. I just emailed the sustainability people at the MTA.

Yay! Go you!

Also, jealous of the people having THE SCOLA.

Punishingly Intricate

Braved the cold to get a hot chocolate and some cashews! And I'm glad I did. YUM! And I hope my snacking needs are satisfied for a while because I have to go home, then to Wilmington to drop off my dog, then to Philly to meet up with boyfriend at his friends' there. That means no dinner for a long, long time.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I was in the new JetBlue terminal -- now I'm on the plane. Kind of sad that I didn't get a chance to look around.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just got a Facebook friend request from a friend of my grandmother's. (Who I've also known my entire life.) Adorable!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Facebook interface defeats me. Well, confounds me. Are there Facebook filters? Can you filter posts for friends of your grandmother's? Or restrain your post content to grandmotherly-friendly things?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No landing in the Hudson if you can avoid it, okay Tom?

Art Crawl!!!

Beverly, so far as I can tell: no.

information libertarian

Yes, you can filter facebook. But it's not as easy to fine-grain as LJ; it's more like whole categories of things can be shown or not shown to groups you define.

I found a web site where you can look up the salary of any state employee in Georgia. So now I know what all my coworkers, and neighbors and acquaintances who work for the Uggaversity, make. Weird. The salary distribution is weird, too - almost everybody makes less than 40K or more than 80K.

Both, I think, but I've never bothered to really investigate the privacy settings.

Thanks for your answers, people!
