sara, I'm super super super excited for you!!

I've got cheese (a block of cheddar and a giant wedge of brie). i'm celebrating on your behalf.

Even Noah is super thrilled. Ok, fine. He's on his rocking horse so that is cheating.

Because books.

Behold the power of cheese, sara. And yay! Soon it'll be over and you'll be a homeowner!

Kat, that picture of Noah is made of ADORABLE.

Thanks, Amy. I have to get it enlarged. It's too cute. Especially his feet wrapped around the horse.

Kat, that's an awesome set of shots. And you and Noah and K and lori and everyone need to visit me. Preferably after I've unpacked.

I have no cheese. Seriously, none.

Now tagless for your comfort.

sarameg, your nerves are totally understandable!

Kat, Noah is so adorable. That's how you ride bareback--hang on with the legs & feet!

Olivia continues to do my geeky heart proud.

I don't know if this link will work, but the woman is one of my coworkers. And I'm amazed at her voice. She has a great speaking voice, but I didn't know she could do THAT: [link]

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

In a similar throwback spirit to Tommy's amazing photos, I got to the bottom of my last box tonight (one I hadn't unpacked since moving to SF) and finally found my Dad's old basketball programs from the 40s--one when he's playing the US Coast Guard Surf Riders at Kezar Pavillion!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Things I didn't say:

To my cat: "I'm a biped. Deal with it."

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Interestingly ( to me ) , even though I rarely have trouble falling asleep - it is a bad idea for me to go to sleep before 11. Midnight is better. If I wake up between 2 and 3 -- I am awake until 530/600. I'm trying to train my brain to - bedroom at 10 asleep between 1030 and 1100. But if I have had a couple of bad nights - I don't like to hit the bedroom until 11.

Yay for you sara -- even though your co-worker has earwormed me with the 80's. Buy your ca a house was the best idea evea!!!!

and noah's face - priceless. and I love geeky girls

Our wings are not tired.

Beth, I am in the same predicament if I go to bed too early.
