Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

I don't know if this link will work, but the woman is one of my coworkers. And I'm amazed at her voice. She has a great speaking voice, but I didn't know she could do THAT: [link]

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

In a similar throwback spirit to Tommy's amazing photos, I got to the bottom of my last box tonight (one I hadn't unpacked since moving to SF) and finally found my Dad's old basketball programs from the 40s--one when he's playing the US Coast Guard Surf Riders at Kezar Pavillion!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Things I didn't say:

To my cat: "I'm a biped. Deal with it."

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Interestingly ( to me ) , even though I rarely have trouble falling asleep - it is a bad idea for me to go to sleep before 11. Midnight is better. If I wake up between 2 and 3 -- I am awake until 530/600. I'm trying to train my brain to - bedroom at 10 asleep between 1030 and 1100. But if I have had a couple of bad nights - I don't like to hit the bedroom until 11.

Yay for you sara -- even though your co-worker has earwormed me with the 80's. Buy your ca a house was the best idea evea!!!!

and noah's face - priceless. and I love geeky girls

Our wings are not tired.

Beth, I am in the same predicament if I go to bed too early.

And this I MUST see!!

The Chesterfield ads on the back are great. I really want to frame the front of one and the back of another together, but then you can't see my Dad's name inside.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

megan, my framer did something special for me when I wanted both sides to show. She floated the piece between two sheets of glass with no matt, and glued two narrow frame mouldings together back to back so the piece could be viewed from either side. Screw eyes on the top corners to hang it from. We put that piece in a wall cutout so people could stand and view from either side, but you could always hang it on a wall, and flip it when you wanted to look at the reverse.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm glad that CeCe is too intimidated to go explore the rest of the house, because she's a climber and very curious. We know the cellar is cat-permeable, since that one got in and out on its own (but never again, thank goodness!) so if she went explororating down there, she'd probably find it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, after all of that morning-routine talk, I went to bed earlish, but still slept through my alarm until 7:20! Am now late for work.
