Thank goodness for skillful piloting, and quick rescue efforts.
I was just reading a short article about how there have been no fatal big plane crashes in the US in 7 or so years, so maybe the streak is continuing!

Scary stuff about that plane! I was a kid when Flight 191 went down at O'Hare--the photo at that link has been burned in my memory since then.
OMG I remember that crash. I had been on that flight the day before! The same flight number and route!
