Sandra Bullock's wasn't awful, but it was Texanish which is more NW Louisiana.
Yeah, but with her you could at least argue that it had been tempered/mangled by all her years in New York. The others didn't really have an excuse.
Steel Magnolias had a similar problem. I love watching Olympia Dukakis, but her accent really didn't work.
The very worst one, though, was Dylan McDermott. I still cringe every time he whines, "C'mon, Shelby, say you'll marry me."
Ok, y'all I need some hivemind advice. I conked my head around 2pm today (slammed my forehead into the freeze door handle as I was standing up from cleaning the fridge), have a good 2 inch mark on my forehead and now I have a fever of 100.6. What is a worrisome temp for an adult? I'm afraid to google.
At least Steel Magnolias was set in Natchitoches. That's more of a general southern than south Louisiana that always gets mangled.
100 sounds a little high to me, but my temp runs a little low.
Is the mark a cut? That could be an infection.
Mostly just a mark. There was a bit of blood at first, but it isn't a gash or anything. Just sore as hell. Crying hurts. Never realized how much you use your forehead when you cry.
I would put some goop on it and take aspirin, but I have no idea what to do in medical situations.
I'm usually a "rub dirt in it and down a shot" type of gal myself, but I don't think that is the wisest idea right now.
Above 100 is when doctors start to be concerned. Googling indicates that a fever is associated with head injuries fairly often, as a result of inflammation. Does your doctor have an emergency line?
