Above 100 is when doctors start to be concerned. Googling indicates that a fever is associated with head injuries fairly often, as a result of inflammation. Does your doctor have an emergency line?

I really really don't want to sound alarmist, but I'll admit the Natasha Richardson thing really has me worried about head injuries, etc.
Suzi, would it be terribly difficult to go see a doctor right now? Do you have a headache? Are your eyes dilated?
Did you take a NSAID? Wouldn't that cause a bit of a fever?
Other than my bump hurting, I don't really have a headache. I am planning on calling my doc in the am, but am trying to avoid the ER. I hit the front of my head, not the back - I'm trying to tell myself that makes a difference.
I'm sorry y'all. I just feel kinda alone right now. CJ is asleep and while my mom has been checking on me, she is in worse physical shape than I am, I don't want to drag her out in the snow.
I should see if I have any Tylenol. I know I don't have any asprin type stuff.
I am in kind of a "better safe than sorry" place myself, so I agree with everyone else above.
Does your insurance have some kind of 24-hour advice hotline? Ours does, with nurses.

I'm with Dana. Check and see if there are any 24-hour advice lines.
Kyra Sedwick's accent is so bad *I* can't stand it.And I'm from Phoenix.
Bless, why are insurance web sites so hard to navigate. They say they have a 24 hour nurse hot line, but I can't find the phone number anywhere.
Took some Tylenol and will check my temp again in a bit.
What insurance company, Suzi?
