this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My dad with my sister when she was a newborn. He's reminding me of somebody but I can't place it. Some sort of actor type.

Spencer Tracy, but not built as block-ish.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I just cancelled an interview for a job I don't want and ordered a big spa gift certificate. I am feeling calmer already!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Well played, Cowgirl.

My paternal grandparents.

My immediate family, back in the 50s before I was born. My parents and sister are back row on the left. My cousin Gary (who grew up to join the Hells Angels) is sitting on my grandparents lap. The skinny guy on the back row far right is my Uncle Noel - my father's only brother. Next to him is his wife, my Aunt Dot (freakass! Freaky Aunt Dot!) Bottom left corner, the pretty girl with yet another perm is my cousin Teri who grew up to be a model.

My aunt got googlecammed! When you look on their street in streetview, there she is, out walking their two dogs! Hilarious!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

As much as I roll my eyes at those "It's not delivery; it's DiGiorno!" ads, I do have to admit their crust is much better than other frozen pizzas I've cooked at home. Even Wolfgang Puck's.

I told Miss Louise I might be moving. It was HARD. Took Loki over there with me and he was all cute and ridiculously affectionate with her.

If the sale goes through, I'm gonna have to bring her over once a month or so for dinner.

Punishingly Intricate

I told Miss Louise I might be moving. It was HARD.

aww yeah that must have been.

So, Frank was at the vet all day acting completely normal (for him in the last few months anyway). Dr. Berry gave him some pain meds just in case. And I'm going to board him there when I go away this weekend in case something happens again. I think that is the best plan. It's hard to know! Anyway, he's sleeping seemingly comfortably now. Thanks for your support, guys.

I'm glad Frank gaslit you but am sorry he did, but glad he seems to be better today. Boarding sounds like the best option. It covers a lot.

I haven't told T and her family. That will also be hard.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm glad he's feeling better, lisah. Poor Frank.

Watching Iditarod coverage. Doggies = cute.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Good to hear Frank's looking up, lisah.

Speaking of looking up, I think this ER visit may have broken the back of this particular migraine. Thanks be to the gods.

That will also be hard.

You're extending your network/neighbourhood, not trading it in. It might be rough, but you're good people.
