The skinny guy on the back row far right is my Uncle Noel - my father's only brother. Next to him is his wife, my Aunt Dot (freakass! Freaky Aunt Dot!) Bottom left corner, the pretty girl with yet another perm is my cousin Teri who grew up to be a model.

So, Frank was at the vet all day acting completely normal (for him in the last few months anyway). Dr. Berry gave him some pain meds just in case. And I'm going to board him there when I go away this weekend in case something happens again. I think that is the best plan. It's hard to know! Anyway, he's sleeping seemingly comfortably now. Thank you, ita. I'll just miss the impromptu visits. The maybe-new place is on a busline, and T is bus savvy, but it won't be as simple as a last minute call to solve a math problem or borrow paper, you know?

Part of the rationale for introducing myself early to my maybe-new neighbors is that otherwise, I'd take forever. By being proactive, I'm giving myself the chance to make those connections earlier than I did here. Cause god, they mean a lot.
