Natter 63: Life after PuppyCam
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
This the recipe I used: [link]
I added extra garlic, used italian bread crumbs and changed the topping to a more mustardy one and it was good (we like the spicy at my house). You gotta like rosemary, though.
So, what's everyone having for lunch today?
Leftovers. Smoked turkey, corn, peas, fried rice.
Oh fuck, this is funny! Ricky Gervais' Hilarious "Sesame Street" Appearance (VIDEO)
Thank god for "Sesame Street," without out it I would never have learned to read, count, or talk to over-sized plush animals. The only way to improve upon it is to add caustic British comedians as often as possible.
Gervais was on the set for an interview with Elmo that will air this November when "Sesame Street" premiers its 40th Anniversary episode. Luckily, the AP got a sneak peek.
In the following segment, Gervais and Elmo talk pajamas, charity, where the producer lost control of the interview, and what not to talk about on "Sesame Street." According to Gervais those topics include, "Drugs, child abuse, and the Holocaust."
I never thought I'd see someone ask Elmo if he "knew what necrophilia was."
So, what's everyone having for lunch today?
Boston baked beans from the slow-cooker (though I can't seem to get them quite right) and broccoli with vinaigrette.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
The kids and I had Kraft Mac & Cheese.
Christopher still has the van because we haven't retrieved his truck after his plane was rerouted to a different airport on Tuesday. We're going to have to go get that tonight so I can take the kids to Indiana.
If we lived in the same town maybe we could work out a sort of a barter thing where you could do something I don't like to do and I could cook for you!
I would totally do this!!
I have a huge stack of cookbooks and always have the best of intentions to cook for myself. But, when it comes down to it, I take the easy way out instead.
Two years ago, I was paying off a credit card over a six-month period and was living off $25/week for spending expenses. I got used to PB&J, egg salad, and tuna fish sandwiches, frozen veggies, and lots of spaghetti, as well as whatever was on sale that week. I really should return to that mindset, but expand my menu options since money isn't as tight right now.
I'm not sure how I feel about this.
I'm pretty sure I feel fantastic about it.
I don't think the Buffalo sauce and the pizza sauce go together that well.
