I did not know that!
Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
They're on Letterman tonight. Which I know tapes early-ish, but do you think they would do both?
They taped tonight's show on Monday.
(So says a friend of mine who hung out, hugged Edge, etc. Lucky bitch.)
Edge gets a lot of hugs. I also have a friend who got one, years ago.
I NEED TO HUG THE EDGE!!!!!
Sorry. Better now.
Goth style icon, the young Dave Vanian.
What a pretty and dapper sonofabitch.
(The Damned - "Love Song")
I'm tempted by this 7" boxset, although the price is a definite barrier: [link]
Oh, but you know that's going to appreciate in value like crazy.
I should maybe ask this in Gaming, but is there any chance the soundtrack MCR did for Shellshock II will be sold separately, as a soundtrack?
It's all covers of 60s and early 70s songs.
I'm distracting myself today with 80s videos on VH1 Classic. So far:
- Olivia Newton-John, Physical: I'd forgotten the gay angle on this one. Love the headband, Liv!
- Madonna, Lucky Star: Oh man, I sure loved Madonna in this phase. I had a couple of net tops like the black one she wears in this video. She was so darling!
- Hall and Oates, One on One: I never was much with the H&O love (sorry, Plei!).
- Pretenders, Middle of the Road: "I've got a kid, I'm 33 baby!" Hell yeah! Also, love the glitter hat, Hynde!
I wanted to be Chrissie Hynde when I was in high school. She was my fashion role model--big shirt with skinny tie and a fedora (I could never find one that fit my big head, damnit!!).
