No, it's 4/4 or maybe more accurately 16/16. It's confusing because the second half of the rhythmic riff is syncopated.

Very disquieting but not surprising for that era and milieu. I was reading McKenzie Phillips memoir and the amount of drugs and sex that kids and young teens were exposed to in that world was completely insane. Lori Maddox was about 15, maybe 14, when Jimmy Page first met her and whisked her off. And it's not like anybody was shy about writing songs about 16 year old girls back then either.
