There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Can we make a rule that John Legend doesn't get to sing Bill Withers' songs, like ever?
(watching the Rock and Roll hall of fame ceremony)

I love their early 70s stuff. Do Re Mi is probably my favorite.
It has the song that gave Lemmy "Motorhead" and the bonus tracks include "Ejection" and "Lord of Light."

I like what I've heard so far. I'll have to check out more of their early stuff. Who knew my life was sorely lacking in '70s scifi-inspired heavy metal?
ION, I'm now downloading Fanny's First Time In A Long Time: The Reprise Recordings.
"Psi Power" by Hawklords (Hawkwind in disguise) is also pretty great: [link]
"Silver Machine" is also de rigueur: [link]
And then there was their "new wave hit" "Quark Strangeness and Charm": [link]
