Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There's a new Throwing Muses album coming out in early December. Lister/download a free track here: Throwing Muses - “slippershell” (free MP3) - Boing Boing

I'm a big Muses/Hersh fan, and I likes this song. Also, I approve this message.

Compared to those, my cassette labels were just plain, utilitarian text.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

A few of my cassettes looked like that, for a while I had many colored bic pens for just doing tapes.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ooh, they had Icehouse. And Hunters and Collectors!

The AV Club's favorite guitar solos.

My favorite guitar solo is Bo Diddley's Pretty Thing. I don't think I've ever heard anything that sounds remotely like it, almost 60 years after it was recorded. It's like it came from an alternate universe or something.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Now I know where the Pretty Things got their name from.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Now I know where the Pretty Things got their name from.

Plus, Bowie's song "Oh, You Pretty Things."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My campaign for all Buffistas to see Frank Turner has claimed another victim :) I think Scola makes it five.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.
