My favorite guitar solo is Bo Diddley's Pretty Thing. I don't think I've ever heard anything that sounds remotely like it, almost 60 years after it was recorded. It's like it came from an alternate universe or something.

I just happen to be going next weekend to see Granelli and a band perform the music live. It's one of the few bit of Xmas music I like.
