Maxwell's is great. We used to go to Hoboken to hear music a couple times a month in the early 90s.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Just got back from the Pat Benatar concert. Damn, she's still got it.
My seat was about 20 feet from the stage, so I'm really glad I thought to buy earplugs.
The Johnny Cash cover was kind of a surprise. How long has she been doing that?

What song did she cover?
She did most of "Ring of Fire", then there was a segue into something I didn't recognize, mostly sung by Neil.
I need help. My new intern loved the music in Gatsby, but didn't know who OutKast was, so I made her listen to Hey Ya! (which is about my only exposure to Andre 3000 other than his stint in movies).
I'm taking it that she's a hip hop fan, and she's making feel old, and we've started having "lunch parties" where we'll play tunes on our iPhones in the kitchen. But, I don't have hip hop or what not.
So I'm looking to expand my horizons, or find something palatable to expand her horizons that I won't hate. Hmm, Sublime, maybe?
I guess I'm looking for hip hop friendly music without being, you know, hip hop. Or whatever its called these days. (OMG I don't listen to the radio, I don't even know, how can I be this old?).
God, I forgot how beautiful Bradley Nowell's voice was. Am sad all over again.
I never knew that this was a thing: Black Veil Brides caught using fake stage amps.
Fake PEAVEY amps??? If you're going to have fakes, at least pick a decent brand.
