Apparently, there is a new album. . . but its so much fun to hear the old stuff.
I miss their original drummer Will Rigby.
Does anybody have the Cowboy Junkies' cover of Springsteen's "State Trooper" (from Whites Off Earth Now)?
I ripped a copy off YouTube but it's got a glitch.
I just saw it confirmed that Fall Out Boy has a new song and tour coming up!

Watching this made me happy:
Lenny Kravitz Hears Street Choir Playing his Song, Joins In
In 2010, Lenny Kravitz was sitting in New Orleans having some coffee when he heard his song “Fly Away” being played by a choir performing on the street. He wasted no time playing the drums and rocking out with The Voice of Praise Gospel Choir from First Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas.
Suffering from serious Fall Out Boy ticket trauma. Boston sold out by 10:03, NYC by 12:04, both had hundreds of scalpers on Stub Hub by their respective quarter afters.
Tomorrow I'm shooting for Philly.
Salt Lake City isn't sold out and IT WOULD COST ME LESS TO FRIKKIN FLY THERE THAN PAY FOR A SCALPED TICKET. Grrrr.
Well damn. I haven't even checked to see when Seattle tix go on sale, and I suppose it's too late, now.
Already gone on sale and sold out. Thought I mentioned that in email.
Stayin’ Alive in the Wall
Nice. But I'm finding the necessary pitch shift really distracting (more so on PF shifting higher than the BGs shifting lower).
I heard about this a week ago because the theremin player is an acquaintance of mine, but it just went up yesterday.
Beck does an arrangement of Bowie's Sound & Vision with a 167 piece ensemble that includes, among other things, a classical choir, strings, gospel choir, brass, samba drums, dap kings, metal guitarists, gamelan, drumline snares, charango, mandolin, mirambas, mod synth, vibes, orchestra percussion, harp, piano, erhu, yodeler, alpine horn, saw, and yes -- theremin.
