Something I've been doing lately, reacquainting myself with earlier Stones albums instead of just their singles.
I really like most everything on
Between the Buttons
but particularly "My Obsession" and "Complicated." But also "Miss Amanda Jones" and "Back Street Girl."

So basically what happens on music blogs but for profit and the slight chance that somebody will turn up to collect the dosh.
"Memory Motel" is one of my all-time favorite Stones' songs. Was it ever a hit for them?

I've always loved it, and I don't think I ever even owned Black and Blue. Or maybe I did on a cheap cassette, since I had a double tape deck.
We saw them on tour in the Fall. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
Now I wish I had gone to see them.
