I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm having a hard time telling that there is any difference.

Huh. That seems... weird to me.

Theres no love song finer
But how strange the change
From major to minor
Every time we say goodbye

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Okay, Losing My Religion wasn't bad, Nothing Else Matters started to freak me out, and by the time I got to Riders on the Storm, I hit JESUS CHRIST IT'S A LION GET IN THE CAR.

Yeah, I didn't get all the way through "Riders on the Storm."

One of the ways our brains enjoy music we've heard before is the anticipation we feel for the next few notes-when they arrive, it causes pleasure. These changed versions seem to cause discomfort when the anticipated note is not the same as the arriving note.

Doing this on a note that changes the chord from minor to major makes it much more annoying, I bet.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Troh said: The rumors are still untrue, unreal & totally outta this world 'shreds guitar, does surf's up hand signal'

Skate & Surf* (which became Bamboozle, but then that name was sold and they're Skate & Surf once again) plays 'games' with hints and clues all over social media and they've been hinting hard that FOB was reuniting for the festival. It certainly looks like a Skate & Surf hint to me. Additionally, if the "rumors" are that FOB is "reuniting" that would (in such games) be "untrue" since they've insisted all along that it was a hiatus and not a break up.

LeATHERMØUTH will be playing and I'm pretty much ecstatic to see that ridiculousness again. My Chem is expected to be announced soon. The Bouncing Souls are local and have played both S&S and Bamboozle in the past so I'm hoping they'll be on the ultimate bill as well.

*Skate & Surf is in Freehold -- about 25 miles inland -- and not Asbury Park where it was supposedly supposed to be so I've taken to calling it "Skate & Stuff". It's possible it was moved because of the Sandy though the damage at the end of town where the festival would be was blessedly minimal.
