Buried waist-deep in sand and surrounded by dancing rocks, she schools us in the ways of seasonal shifts and the shuffling of tectonic plates. But as the Atlantic ridge drifts to counteract the distance between herself and the object of her desire, the sedimental layers are ruptured by the sexual tension, what results in an explosion of volcanic activity. Science has never been so sexy.

Note this is Blake Sheldon's "Over". Well known mainstream country artist. Until this I always thought of him as extremely dull, but harmless. Now I think of him as dull and creepy.
Poor writing. But also my reaction to those sentiments is "stay the hell away from me."
