There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
It's about time!
In college, a male friend was trying to convince me I was gay (or at least bi). He paraphrased a line from Hair (that went, "I wouldn't kick Mick Jagger out of my bed" or somesuch) and asked me if I'd kick David Bowie out of my bed.
I had to say, "No."
So anyway, I have to read that book.
eta:
“Mick was very conscious of doing whatever it takes to stay hot; David was the hottest thing around at the time.”
Hee!
New book reveals Bowie and Jaggar’s steamy affair:
Angie Bowie talked about this in her biography Backstage Passes.
You know, I'm a little worried that Bowie hasn't done anything since he had heart problems seven years ago.
So if I heard John Lurie right, he's almost finished writing a book to be called What do you know about music? You're not a lawyer.
Heh.
Wasn't there also a rumor that Mick and Rod Stewart hooked up at least once?
I would pay huge money for a video of young Bowie and Jagger getting busy. Good lord.

I wouldn't pay huge money, but if you did I'd bring the guac, chips and booze for a watching party....
Well, that's a plan.
Springsteen and McCartney in London . . . and then the organizers pulled the plug.
It'd be nice if you could hear the people on the stage singing, and not just the audience.
I know. . . but clearly an fan video.
