Buffista Music 4: Needs More Cowbell!
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Ooh, that camp looks fantastic!! And I will totally be in Boston while it's running. If I, you know, could play an instrument or had a band or something, I'd totally volunteer. It seems like a great, great program.
zuisa, there are many volunteer opportunities that don't involve knowing how to play an instrument. If you're serious, you should get in touch with the organizers! [link]
(Welcome, by the way! I don't think we've "met")
My cousin was a big participant in that camp, and now teaches at it. It's pretty awesome.
Here is our engladdening summer song for today: "Glad Girls" by Guided by Voices.
It will cheer you up.
That is an engladdening song!
I love that their first idea was to be an Alan Parsons Project cover band.
