Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

One great thing about doing these playlists is that it gets me to check out CDs from the library that I would never hear otherwise.

Case in point: The Country Side of Elvis = Awesome.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

"Louis Quatorze" by Bow Wow Wow is a cool song that I don't have. (

And "Duchess" from the same album. I ripped those, I just forgot to add them to the playlist I guess.

Hmmm, same thing with the fabulous Juice Newton.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I may have more at home, but off the top of my head--King of America, Elvis Costello, and Riding with the King, Eric Clapton and BB King.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

While searching my iTunes for "prince" and "princess" songs, I found -- and had obviously forgotten that I had -- "Someday My Prince Will Come" performed by Miles Davis, from The Complete Columbia Recordings 1955-1961. I like it a LOT.

Not a single song or artist with "princess."

For "king," I have the "Plow King" jingle from The Simpsons performed by Linda Ronstadt.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister
