'First Date'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

"Mr. Plow is a loser and I think he is a boozer...."
While searching my iTunes for "prince" and "princess" songs, I found -- and had obviously forgotten that I had -- "Someday My Prince Will Come" performed by Miles Davis, from The Complete Columbia Recordings 1955-1961. I like it a LOT.
I realized I have far too many versions of this song, including the original, and the very breathy Sinead O'Connor cover. But I really like Tierney Sutton's jazzy take on this type of song (She also does a great "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" and "Show Me").
ETA: I also have too many versions of this:

I'm pretty sure a friend of mine has it, but I don't know if she has the ability to make an mp3. I emailed and asked her....
The King Of Wishful Thinking - Go West
Prince Charming - Adam And The Ants

I meant the song, not by those particular artists, which I assume is what you wanted.
Adam and the Ants!
I know! I only just bought this song off iTunes last week (along with Stand And Deliver), after realising I only had Antmusic and Goody Two Shoes (from his solo career).
Ah! I misunderstood.
