There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Belated happy happy, Jon!
For the benefit of Ple, Jen and other Leonard Cohen fans, I share this bit from an interview with Rufus Wainwright:
"One time I was hanging out with Leonard Cohen and his daughter," he says. "She was talking about this child she had known as a baby who she hadn't seen for a few years and how he was now grown up, and she said to her dad: 'You know, it's pretty amazing watching how the baby became a person.' Whoops, didn't see this until today (and must have misread the invite). Good thing I DIDN'T show up on Saturday.
Latest artist I know nothing about but totally love an album I found on eMusic: Berntholer. Merry Lines in the Sky is awesome! "Simulation" is my fave cut so far....

Were *you* the punch dispenser, Theo?
even if the dispenser turned out to have some problems....

Jacques Brel and "The Impossible Dream" are just a perfect combination of music and singer.
I prefer Jacques Brel singing "Next."
