I'll have to keep an eye out for that one, as neither eMusic nor iTunes has it.
Also re: Middle Cyclone - is the first song "This Tornado Loves You" supposed to be 3:19 and cut off suddenly like that?
Mayor ,'Lies My Parents Told Me'
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

Canadian Amp
Ooo, I need to check that out.
My favoritest NC song is "Furnace Room Lullaby," which is how I was introduced to her. I think I tracked it down after hearing it in The Gift. Next favorite is "I Wish I Was the Moon."
Oh, "I Wish I Was the Moon" is gorgeous.
But I also love love love "Deep Red Bells" and "Star Witness".

3:19 should be right, but it shouldn't cut off in the middle. And I'm sorry, but not surprised, to hear Canadian Amp is unavailable. I also don't see it on the Bloodshot Records website, which I'm almost certain is where I got it from back in 2001. If folks are interested (and can remind me), I can post the tracks to BRawk sometime later this week.
I think the only NC song I've heard is "Deep Red Bells". I love it, but haven't gotten around to checking out anything else by her.
You know, I can't even remember if I got into her through the New Pornographers, or some other way....
Whenever I listen to the New Pornographers, I end up thinking, "I can't hear Neko! What's the point?"
Jilli, you've heard Furnace Room Lullaby at least once - that was the song I danced to in Seattle as a Woman in White.

Oooh, I did like that!
Am listening to Waits' "The Earth Died Screaming." Followed by "Dirt In The Ground."
Have I mentioned how much I love Bone Machine?
