I was in my comic book store, and I overheard a conversation the manager was having a customer. All I heard was the word "Trickster," which made me turn my head. And then she mentioned the characters living the same day over and over again and one of them kept dying.
"Supernatural?" I asked. Yep. She'd only seen a couple episodes. That one and one where they were trapped in a police station, and the FBI agent had caught them, and then the dead people or possessed people or evil people were coming, and they went to the blonde demon chick for help, and it was really creepy because Lilith showed up at the end.
It's funny to hear the show described by non-fans.
Dude, she was totally watching the TNT reruns the other day then! That's right where they were!
just make me want to sigh at his broken devotion.
::sighs::
So much of this show, for me, is their broken codependent devotion.
Did anyone read a very recent post-apocalypse fic featuring a wounded Dean, and Sam/Castiel, Dean/Castiel, and then brief Dean/Sam?
I didn't mark it and now I can't find it, and I need it as an example of something.
I just read a disturbing fic (Dean/Bobby? How could it not be?) that had this line that I just adore:
That is a great line, but why are you reading the Dobby? Also, why can't I find sock fetish Dobby? (probably because it's only funny to me)
[link] How cute is this twitter from Amy Gumenick (young Mary) ? You go girl. Take the world by storm.
why are you reading the Dobby?
Uh, so not sure? I totally didn't expect it to take the angle it did, and I should have. Not my beautiful cake, but sometimes you gotta try stuff. A time or two...to be sure.
Watching "Long Distance Caller". Damn, it has some really intense Sam and Dean interaction. Before this it was "Ghostfacers" thanks to TNT. I kinda liked the boys with their cussin'. Not Deadwood ridiculous but I liked the way they handled it.
I found the cussing in Ghostfacers distracting because if the regular show is rl then they don't ordinarily swear.
I think it was okay for me because the filming was so different. So throwing that in was just a different aspect. And sons raised by an ex marine without a mother figure are probably going to talk like that.
