Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

but I would be tempted to squirrel away Misha for a long conversation.

But he would just be making shit up. Because he likes to do that.

Because books.

I'd like to ask Jared and Jensen questions about what they want to do next, really. And Jensen maybe about how he got to the right place for some scenes.

And honestly, I think Sera would almost be more fun to talk about the Winchesters with than Kripke. I think she comes at the show and its mythology a bit more the way we do than Kripke.

In the Whedonverse, I wanted to hang out with the writers. With Supernatural, I'm more fascinated by what the actors put into their characters for some reason. But it's also a more actor-accessible time now, and then was a writer-accessible time. So that may be it.

A couple of us buffistas were FB friends with Sera but then that ended. (I swear I didn't ask any questions) I requested Jeremy Carver but he didn't accept me. I can't promise I wouldn't ever ask him a question which may be why he didn't accept. Yeah, I'd like to talk to the writers but they are a shy bunch as opposed to the actors that are all "here let me show you my world and if I find out where you live, you should be nervous."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wouldn't care! Such is the delight! Even if I never found out anything more about Castiel, I know I could be entertained.

Wouldn't you like to have a beer with Jim Beaver? I don't even drink beer.

Jim would have SO much to talk about, too. I think I would pick his brain about Deadwood forever, but also about the book he was writing (did write?) about George Reeves.

I have no idea what Kripke's like, anglewise. I imagine he does something right, because...Show! But he's a complete mystery compared to the amount I knew about Joss's take on his work this far in.

I would never have cared to talk to SMG about Buffy. Maybe JM about Spike, but would he?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Wouldn't you like to have a beer with Jim Beaver?

Oh hell yes.

I can't lie--Misha's easily the cast member I'd like to meet the most. He fascinates me.

But again, there is the example that Jim has been so accessible that he let people know he was a hella nice guy. Of course I'd drink a beer with Jim. I'm not a puppy kicker. If you have any questions for him, you can just email him. Ironically through a back channel of sorts he was emailing people here on the board (me too squee) to help us debunk something about the show.

But I would rather talk to Sera,Jeremy,Ben and Eric.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Kripke interests me. He is the younger son from a blue collar family where the eldest son stayed in the family metal scrap business (AFAIK).

I would be interested in how he came to writing. How his family experience informs his stories. What he learned from the veterans he's worked with (Bob Singer, Kim Manners, etc). Whether the show still resembles anything he intended. How the actors changed the shape of the characters. What his next project is.
