You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Wouldn't you like to have a beer with Jim Beaver?

Oh hell yes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't lie--Misha's easily the cast member I'd like to meet the most. He fascinates me.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

But again, there is the example that Jim has been so accessible that he let people know he was a hella nice guy. Of course I'd drink a beer with Jim. I'm not a puppy kicker. If you have any questions for him, you can just email him. Ironically through a back channel of sorts he was emailing people here on the board (me too squee) to help us debunk something about the show.

But I would rather talk to Sera,Jeremy,Ben and Eric.

Kripke interests me. He is the younger son from a blue collar family where the eldest son stayed in the family metal scrap business (AFAIK).

I would be interested in how he came to writing. How his family experience informs his stories. What he learned from the veterans he's worked with (Bob Singer, Kim Manners, etc). Whether the show still resembles anything he intended. How the actors changed the shape of the characters. What his next project is.

If I could only talk to one person involved with the show it would be Ben Edlund but I've been a fan of his since The Tick.

If I could only talk to one it would probably be Jim Beaver. Aside from being a nice guy, he has many varied interests that he enjoys talking about. I think I'd get the most bang for my buck with Jim.

Misha and Ben would be to busy fucking with my mind. I'd feel pressure to be too clever and witty around them.

Kim Manners. Him I'd have wanted to talk to. Repeat directors, for some reason, would interest me on this show, where they never did on the Whedonverse, unless it was Tim.

There are a number of SPN backstage people that would interest me. But not the way, say, Tim completely fascinated me even before he showed up--and that paid off entirely, because a friendship of sorts formed there, and I got to hang out with him IRL.

Ironically through a back channel of sorts he was emailing people here on the board (me too squee) to help us debunk something about the show.

Debunk what?

Because books.

Whether the show still resembles anything he intended.

I think it changed even right at the beginning. And that was what I meant about Sera -- I think she fell in love with the boys the way we did, and she brings to it that fondness and excitement.

Also, I just really like to talk to writers!

Debunk what?

Over a year ago, someone on twitter was claiming to be Jensen. Pretty icky.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh yeah, gotta know--debunk what?

Failed on Manners, maybe Scriggia? He's directed the lion's share of non-Manners directed eps, and he puts most of the gag reels together--was responsible for the Eye of the Tiger clip.

But yeah, Manners would have been my first choice.

Ooh! Jeannie and --I think--Marcie? The hair and makeup women. They must have a unique insight into how the set runs. Then I'd want to talk to grips and key lights and other crew, just for different POVs on the series, and on their working experience on their favorite eps, and why.
