I'm confused as to why people (not here necessarily but in fandom in general) are assuming the Chuck was God - was it simply because he went "poof" at the end? We've seen vessels for both angels and demons disappear at will and Chuck as a vessel for an angel fits with canon. He was able to give Dean the location at Stull even though the angels were trying to hide it from him but again, I think both demons and angels have been able to obtain information that the angels tried to hide. What did I miss that supports Chuck being God?

lcat, off the top of my head, I think it was partially the look -- clean white shirt, hair neatly groomed, a bit *sparklier* than Chuck generally is, as if we were seeing whoever was really inside rather than the sort of slovenly, nerdy writer.
Also, the way he poofed? There was a different quality to it -- generally the angels are just gone, and you hear the fluttering of wings.

That is what I was thinking when I saw the bridal party pic with them all sitting down. They are all gazing at her so it is typical wedding picture. Would be really nice for the parents to have. It wasn't until I saw the pics today that I really liked the dress.

Missyjack wrote a coda. I love the alternating pov but what I really appreciate is it gives Lisa an internal life beyond the iconic mother image show gave us.
