Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a feeling he would be back, and Bobby too--they died too quick.

I'm wondering if Bobby will be disappeared next season though, which would make me kind of sad.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Overall I loved the episode. I was so sure Bobby and Cas were gone for good that I cheered when they came back. I don't like Chuck being God because that means he was just playing at being goofy awkward Chuck. And does that mesan the samulet doesn't work? Dean wore it in Chuck's presence many times.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Dean wore it in Chuck's presence many times.

Good catch! Huh.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Maybe Chuck only existed to tell the prophesy and once it was over he was no longer necessary, poof! Not God, not Jesus, not anyone. Supernatural's Dawn, though sadly she didn't vanish.

Or perhaps the Samulet burned hot in Chuck's presence but Dean couldn't feel it under all his layers.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My heart crushed when Castiel bought it, but now that he's going back to heaven and everyone's all alone and Sam's a demonic stalker and there's no Samulet...but at least the Impala destruction was just a tease.

I need to rewatch tomorrow morning.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Is Chuck God, or is he Elijah?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh and let's face it, the writer is God of their verse. I thought it was awesomely meta.

Yeah, I didn't think it was any sort of ego trip.

That's not what I would have envisioned for a series finale, but Chuck actually made it work and seem like a culmination of everything.

I'm a little eye-rolly at the quick death and resurrection of Bobby and Castiel; it's not like the boys don't die all the time, but, as has been observed before, it's hard to make a death count on this show if it's so easily negated. The deaths were so quick that I expected them to be merely temporary anyway.

How did Sam get out of the hole? I'm also of the opinion that that scene would not have been there if the show hadn't been renewed.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

If the show had not been renewed, Bobby and Castiel would have stayed dead, Sam and Michael would have gone to hell. If they had kept Andy, then the final seen would have been of Dean slowly dying. Or possibly if it had not been for the S6 renewable the plan would have been for both Dean and Sam to be meat suits and it would have ended as they took over from their drivers and jumped into hell together.

First of undoubtedly many codas. Seems more people think it needed fixing than I'd have guessed.

Dean looked very grim, and he was still drinking. I don't think he wandered off and forgot his brother. I don't think that's possible--and after all that happened in that ep, he's even more damaged than he was at the start of it.

PLEASE LET THE SEASON START IN SEPTEMBER. I fear I'm going to be a dirty little spoiler whore.
