Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Because books.

It's all your fault I even read Dean/Castiel, damn you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

though I am perhaps overestimating the CW's interest in the show at all.

I never underestimate how weirdly overinvested they get with shows while having very little apparent clue what brought the fans to the show in the first place. If the CW is choosing, we'll keep Castiel. Misha is fan-nip...

If they wrap up the End Times bit, really I don't see where Castiel fits in next year's shows but then I'm not a writer or showrunner, so.

I don't want Bobby to die but I sort of expect Bobby to die.

I just don't want Missouri back or mentioned. It's the only way I can be sure she survives this Winchester mess and she should totally get to live.

...

They should call The Doctor. Just this once, everybody lives?

Just this once, everybody lives?

I swear, every time we discuss who might die in here, this is what goes echoing through my head.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Whose death do you think would hurt the boys the most?

Because books.

Bobby's is the death they'll feel most, I think. He is a surrogate dad to them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think Dean is probably equally in awe of how much each of them have invested in him (perhaps slightly more about Cas), but the history Bobby has must count for more.

Amy, I'd love to apologise, but...no! Dean/Cas makes too much sense. And End!Dean/Cas is all sorts of inevitable, and I like how she did it here.

Oh, good. Not just me then.

That is one long story, though. I'm going to save it for hiatus. Also because I'm sure Perkins will say I'm not allowed to read it yet.

And to think RTD told people to watch Supernatural if they were upset about Ianto dying. Do I need to make a list of the dead people we've known and loved?

Everybody never lives. Just, sometimes, they come back.

Bobby's never shuffled off the mortal or immortal coil. It's more than time.

Grownups! I swear. Yeah, I guess it is long. I slurped it like crack.

Same here.

If the show was actually, really, and truly ending this season, I would want it to end with both the boys dying, and averting the apocalypse with those deaths. And then I would want a final shot of a much older Bobby obviously teaching some early 20s kids about monsters and hunting lore.
