Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Of course if it's maximum pain they're going for, it will be both.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

there's an issue of "what to do with Castiel?" next season, if the celestial war issue is settled.

I can point them at about 2,500 fics if they need suggestions. Granted, most of them are porny, but some just have a pie fixation that CW should have no problem with.

Because books.

Though, seriously, the show gives PLENTY.

It's not like I haven't extra-woobified him myself, either.

My best guess is that he would become completely human, which would be fun to watch.

I would miss Bobby like whoa, but I think they wrote themselves into a corner with him at this point.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It just gets bad that I want to read fics where authors beat up on Sam because people are so heartily caught up in creating new and inventive ways to torture Dean. Also, Castiel.

Because books.

I think the inclination to beat up on Sam got overshadowed by the chance to make him Really! Evil! after the whole "chosen one" thing was revealed in S3.

Have the Dean/Castiel people read strangeandcharm's Thursday's Child? I can't get to LJ to get to it to link to it from here, but I quite enjoyed it. It's set in The Endverse, but it posits that 2009!Dean never visited, and that the Colt worked on Lucifer.

Oh, and it beats up on our two leads something awful.

I'm not saying I don't flock to the whumpage like flies to honey....

Because books.

It's all your fault I even read Dean/Castiel, damn you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

though I am perhaps overestimating the CW's interest in the show at all.

I never underestimate how weirdly overinvested they get with shows while having very little apparent clue what brought the fans to the show in the first place. If the CW is choosing, we'll keep Castiel. Misha is fan-nip...

If they wrap up the End Times bit, really I don't see where Castiel fits in next year's shows but then I'm not a writer or showrunner, so.

I don't want Bobby to die but I sort of expect Bobby to die.

I just don't want Missouri back or mentioned. It's the only way I can be sure she survives this Winchester mess and she should totally get to live.

...

They should call The Doctor. Just this once, everybody lives?

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Just this once, everybody lives?

I swear, every time we discuss who might die in here, this is what goes echoing through my head.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Whose death do you think would hurt the boys the most?
