So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Also, if Bobby dies, who is going to inherit his books and the cast iron panic room? Neither of the Winchester boys would appreciate it.

Dude, the former is right up Sam's alley.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think they would both appreciate it. Dean because of the panic room, and because Bobby really is like a second better father to him, and Sam because of the books, and both of them because it would give them a base for their curtain fic life to come back to after hunting trips.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So everyone agrees Bobby dies and Cas lives?

Wonderful!

I think it will be Bobby. Jim Beaver, while beloved, does not seem to have Misha's followers. I think from a network influence standpoint, they'd be insisting on keeping Misha around, though I am perhaps overestimating the CW's interest in the show at all.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

My boyfriend did point out that there's an issue of "what to do with Castiel?" next season, if the celestial war issue is settled. There is much less of that issue with Bobby.

Of course if it's maximum pain they're going for, it will be both.

there's an issue of "what to do with Castiel?" next season, if the celestial war issue is settled.

I can point them at about 2,500 fics if they need suggestions. Granted, most of them are porny, but some just have a pie fixation that CW should have no problem with.

Because books.

Though, seriously, the show gives PLENTY.

It's not like I haven't extra-woobified him myself, either.

there's an issue of "what to do with Castiel?" next season

My best guess is that he would become completely human, which would be fun to watch.

I would miss Bobby like whoa, but I think they wrote themselves into a corner with him at this point.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It just gets bad that I want to read fics where authors beat up on Sam because people are so heartily caught up in creating new and inventive ways to torture Dean. Also, Castiel.

Amy - Apr 26, 2010 12:26:39 pm PDT #7963 of 30002
Because books.

I think the inclination to beat up on Sam got overshadowed by the chance to make him Really! Evil! after the whole "chosen one" thing was revealed in S3.
