ehab, I spoiler-fonted out that phrase in your post, and I think it might need deleting, although everyone at the cons seem to have been really careful about spoilery material that I've seen.
'Trash'
Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Sorry about that, I deleted the con stuff.
And I'd prefer the boys have a clever plan that works.
The only way I won't (I think) be completely upset with Sam saying yes is if it's a plan. If he caves, I'll probably be pretty bitter.
This is how I feel, although sad to say I won't be altogether surprised if they decide to throw Sam under the dee-monic bus again. I've been so upset with what they've done with his character (or rather, with what they haven't done with his character) as the show's progressed that I have no faith in their treatment of him any longer. And I have to avoid other message boards for my own sanity becase the slavering hordes out there will only be satisifed with his death. They don't really seem to care if he dies while housing Lucifer or in an act of redemption while saving Dean, as long as death is the end result.
Entertainment Weekly does a top 10 Supernatural episodes. Needless to say I disagree, but I haven't been able to clarify anything more than "You have to include The End!" and "Mystery Spot was also very sad!"
Otherwise, ten? Hard. And props to season 5 for making it even harder.

But! But! Point of No Return! He was totally the hero and the backbone!
Fine, I'm a Dean!Girl, but still. It was incumbent upon him to pull Dean's head out of his ass, because Dean's prophesied to be the guy that ends this all, but he did it so beautifully.
I think he's been splendid recently, especially since Dark Side Of The Moon.
Where is it you want them to go with his character, Morgana?
Otherwise, ten? Hard.
Oh yeah. Some of mine are on there, but I feel like I have different top tens for different reasons. For brother moments, for backstory, etc. Picking an overall top ten is just HARD.
I love that EW loves and features the show, though. Sometimes I still feel like it exists in this little bubble where no one knows about it but us.

You know you're gonna have to do it when the season's over, right? I'd like to hold everyone to that task. Sure, there can be themed top tens, but there should also be an overall one, for the pain creating it would cause.
It's not called the hellatus for nothing.
I haven't seen much in other places calling for Sam's excoriation, and I've been back on the reading-everything bandwagon since PoNR. Mostly, character-criticism-wise, it was people who spent most of the episode wanting to slap Dean silly, and then coming round to Brotherly Bond cheering in the end. And people not being happy about the re-introduction of Adam.
But I'm not up to date at TWOP. I got out of the habit of reading them, and I haven't gotten back to that place in the cravings for material yet.

Between that and Variety, I was very chuffed. Still, more photos please! Not just screen caps or ep promo shots.
Oh, I will. Try to stop me, dude. I've got a whole list of ... lists to make. And I look forward to it.
Yeah, I can't see fans of the show wanting either brother *dead*. What the hell is that about?! They're a team! A matched set! They make each other better! (Except when they're making each other worse.)
I'd have to sit and think about it, but I don't object to Sam's growth in the series. It hasn't been completely consistent, I'm sure, but I think now!Sam has come a long way, fairly logically, from S1 Sam.
my list isn't complete without either Tall Tales or Wishful Thinking. i have an unhealthy love for both of them.
My Tall Tales love is unhealthy, too!
But possibly not as unhealthy as my love for The End.
I dunno, I feel like I've been watching the Sam Winchester is Awesome and Self Aware, and Waiting for the OTHER Idjits to Notice This Show for a while now. Like he's become Awesome Mature Thoughtful Sam instead of Angry Young Emo Sam! And there's a logical progression that we've seen! This appears, also, to be the show many of my friends who started out mainly in it for the Dean are watching.
