Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, ita, I have posted here from time to time about inspired physical casting on this show. If you look at flims from very early in JDM's career, in longshots he could be JP. Also, Samantha Smith has long bones and a long face and jaw she could easily share with JP, while her eyes and mouth look very much like JA's mom's. It's all a crapshoot, but I find it fascinating nonetheless. Somebody in the casting dept's subconscious seems to have been working quite well.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

So very odd that he went from being a dead ringer for Goran Visnjic when he was younger to a dead ringer for Javier Bardem in the present day. I wonder which other famous person he'll look just like ten years from now?

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Oh Baby Jensen! ::pinches his cheeks::

JDM is just plain hot. His chameleon like quality is a bit disturbing though. Especially when you figure in the awkward not hot stage when he filmed his AtS episode.

I agree with Bev on the casting. Spooky.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Jake Abel casting was pretty good too, although he's nowhere near as good looking as the Winchesters proper.

I wonder which other famous person he'll look just like ten years from now?

Maybe it will be time for someone else to look like him.

Art Crawl!!!

Sneak Peek for next week.

BTW, did you catch the name of the hotel? I believe it was "Elysian Fields" - which makes me think that this episode may be more arc-y then the promo otherwise suggests.

I'm sure they're all reasonably arcy from here on in.

I'm glad that made me smile, even if just a little. Don't need to be verklempt this soon again. And the boys *are* pretty.

Perkins, another Criminal Minds crossover. I haven't read it yet, so I can't comment on its particular quality, but I have read another SPN fic by the same author that I quite liked.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I shall have to read it.

I should also go find more Goran V. pictures to oogle.

Because books.

Next week's episode looks very Hotel California, with laughs. I approve.

I should also go find more Goran V. pictures to oogle.

Is that ogling via Google?
