Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Theresa, you think you have it bad. Normally I try and pacify myself with the knowledge that at least the east coast got up earlier than I did, but with insomnia that doesn't work. So I'm waiting way too long for Show goodness/pain.

I refuse to cry tonight. I swear.

I was really disappointed with the lack of codas I could find from last week's episode. It wasn't more depressing than Dark Side of the Moon, but I guess everyone couldn't just have Sam pick up the amulet or have Dean kill Roy and Walt. More shock, maybe, and knowledge of certain Jossing.

I love codas the most, I think, and it's a shame they're not more plentiful. I find they don't have me going insane with canon issues (well, except when Castiel apparates out of nowhere, but it's possible I've mentioned that before), even when I read them later.

And Weechesters the second most.

I think I hate most people that write intricate AUs, but I can't stop inhaling them anyway. It seems I keep bumping into ones where they physically damage the Boys and I feel outraged. I guess I just prefer them mostly emotionally broken and pretty spry. Blind!Dean, permanently mute!Dean...grr!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

So Damon should really just go looking for a fuck and a snack, while tragically broken?

YES.

(How much, and with what, do you think we need to bribe a Certain Someone to write that cross-over for us?)

Because books.

Is Damon the one who used to be on Lost?

I possibly mentioned fanfiction and the fact that Sara is making nascent attempts at it in her conference just now. With the brand-new young (guy) teacher who looked baffled but amused. Oops.

Yes, and I can never root for him, because he's too insufferable.

I'm trying to remember the pairing for the Vampire Diaries/SPN slash I skipped over in horror. I should have looked for the lulz. One of the Winchesters with one of the Salvatores, but which one? And for god's sake, WHY?

I can't even picture that. And I don't want to.

I like the character of Damon because hey, he LIKES being a vampire. He just wants to eat people. And play with his food. None of this tortured, I am horrible and a monster nonsense. More like I am a monster and it's totes awesome!

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

When it comes to SPN fic, I'm mainly a gen fan.

I think you speak for most of the people in here, unless there are a lot of quiet lurkers. (Which I guess by definition lurkers would be quiet. Never mind.) Anyway, I think Amy and ehab said they'd read wincest, so maybe they'll enjoy the links.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That is a crossover of ewww because I couldn't be happy for anyone. Damon is gleefully living as an evil vampire and Dean gleefully kills the vampires and neither the twain shall meet in my brain.

(How much, and with what, do you think we need to bribe a Certain Someone to write that cross-over for us?)

This is a crossover of awesome that I have no idea how to make happen, sadly.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm trying to remember the pairing for the Vampire Diaries/SPN slash I skipped over in horror.

That's just wrong. Damon is Dean (and Spike) and Stephan is Sam so I wonder if they would slash Damon/Dean or Damon/Sam? I'm betting Damon is the one most slashed.

I like the character of Damon because hey, he LIKES being a vampire. He just wants to eat people. And play with his food. None of this tortured, I am horrible and a monster nonsense. More like I am a monster and it's totes awesome!

Exactly. "Hello? Vampire!" Yeah, he does make me smile a little with that.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

Morgana, yes, thanks I appreciate the links. I am weirdly prudish on J2 vs. wincest. I think my squick comes from co-opting real lives for fiction.

My discomfort meter really pings when real life facts are adapted into fiction be it gen or porn.

I actually read a J2 fic yesterday because it had Wincest in the summary. It was some sort of not!ita perfect storm.
