But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You got me with everything but the 'cest.

Because books.

I know. Hee.

We should mount a campaign to get the good 'cest writers to rewrite their stories and take those parts out!

Uh. Because they would love that, I'm sure.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It may not be my beautiful cake but it is fun to joke about.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Cass used to do that for me.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Or Damon/Stefan?

Canon! Well, it FEELS canon, for sure!

When Damon makes comments like "Where's our girlfriend?", I vote canon.

Wincest is not my thing, but the "[foo] is DELICIOUS" story is a classic.

This. That curtain fic I just which was awesome, thank you Amy, was a totally plausible gen story.

You could totally unstitch the wincest and still have the angst of settling into a domestic scene for a while.

I know there's so much quality there, it hurts. I'm jealous, but I try periodically (like I keep tasting beer) and I just get slammed right out of the story. I tried the foo story, and enjoyed myself mightily until I had to hit the back button.

It's like the world is getting back at me for the odd link I might have posted here or there.

Just the one or two, huh?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

[foo] is delicious! will never not be funny to me.

Tummies of iron!

Cass used to do that for me.

It's surprisingly easy for a lot of good stories. Because then it's just looking at them a little squinty and seeing they are way overinvested in each other. Like canon.

When Damon makes comments like "Where's our girlfriend?", I vote canon.

It's totally canon. *nods*

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Further upthread there was a request for curtainfic. I have two other recs, although both are first-time wincest:

Mile Zero by setissma
Pie In the Sky by flawedamythyst

In other news, approximately 3hrs10min until Show!
