I'd love to read a well-done non-wincest-y curtain fic because yeah it hits the closest to my dreamed of resolution for these boys. I think it would be pretty challenging to pull off.

Because books.

This is the one I like.

Thank you Amy.

Here's a great summary vid of Team Free Will. Destiny Can't Be Changed

ETA: I just had to come in and say this fic is great, I'm reading it now and I just got to the curtain buying discussion! There's actual talk about buying curtains! Hee! Is this the origin fic of curtain fic?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Aw, the ads in Variety were sweet. The first article is vaguely spoilery for the end of this season.

Because books.

I don't think so, ehab. As a trope, I think curtain fic predates SPN, but someone more knowledgeable than me about fandom would know.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I don't think so, ehab. As a trope, I think curtain fic predates SPN, but someone more knowledgeable than me about fandom would know.

I think it predates the Intertubes, even.

I can't go full hodgeberry on Supernatural, sadly. Consentual activity between 'em always (and I've tried! I have not that squick! I wrote Connor/Darla!) reads OOC to me.

Oh god, Perkins, that makes me so happy. Snicker.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Happy 100th. Oxymoronic.

Hurry up! Time fly!

Consentual activity between 'em always (and I've tried! I have not that squick! I wrote Connor/Darla!) reads OOC to me.

I buy Simon/River before I buy Sam/Dean, unless it's to tell me that Sam and Dean are that miserable and messed up, in which case it's too sad for me to read, and I couldn't find it hot.

And although I can buy Simon/River, the topic didn't interest me at all, and mostly I just wonder what happens in Joss's head.

Also, those Petrelli boys touched each other a lot. That I could buy in character, because they were both that kind of damaged and expressive.

No opinion on Michael/Lincoln.
