Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?

[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm driving forty minutes every day so I do like the story to continue. I love the kindle for the space saving capability but I have to admit that while driving or (even riding because reading makes me car sick) it has been a very cool thing. Sex scenes aren't nearly as awkward as my kindle's robotic voiced curse word that pops up now and again. Although really I am so used to the voice now that it doesn't phase me anymore.

Because books.

Hee. I had no idea you were listening to them! Well, yay!

Most of the *fan* mail I ever got about the romances was little old ladies ranting about my bad language. And who clearly felt it was their duty to read the whole book anyway just to point out exactly how depraved I was.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jensen playing other roles doesn't alway turn out well.

Well, and Devour. But he hasn't disappointed me on Show yet.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I haven't read them yet, but I am excited now that I found them on kindle. I will let you know if you need to tone down the lanuguage like that dirty bird Stephen King. But I promise not tie you up and make you write more or send anything signed "your number one fan."

But he hasn't disappointed me on Show yet.

He had me enraptured with Ben/Alec on DA as well. I didn't see him on Dawson's Creek so I can't judge that, but it's been hit and miss for me with liking his portrayal of characters. I guess My Bloody Valentine wasn't bad, but he wasn't playing that far from Dean.

I trust that the synergy between him and the Supernatural writers mean that even when they're sucking, he can find something to pull out of it. So far, so good.

And, DA? Not quality. Ben? Creeptastic. Alec? A delight.

I will watch him on Dawson's again sometime. I was all about Pacey at that time.

Because books.

I still haven't watched Devour.

What I've seen of him on Dawson's and Smallville is fine, if not especially inspired (although he did do one really lovely scene with Michelle Williams). I felt the same way about My Bloody Valentine -- there's just not a lot of there there.

I think he was sweet and just right for his role in Ten Inch Hero. In Blonde he was beautiful and sensual and a little scenery-chewing in one or two spots, but he was also really young. (And way taller than Patrick Dempsey.)

I'd just love to see him sink his teeth into something else with as much meat as Dean provides. Something well written and dramatic. Like, if he could have played the Christian Bale role in the remake of 3:10 to Yuma, I think (hope) he would have been remarkable.

oooo...that would have been good. I'm dying to see him do a western though.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

DON'T. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD, LEARN FROM OTHERS' MISTAKES.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Where is the fun in that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I posted about chasing down the Ackles oeuvre on another board (and really, I'm lax at his movies) and a couple other fangirls chimed in with their own disappointments. Man, what a waste of good talent.

Luckily, I don't remember much about Devour, except for the incredible feeling of deja vu I got watching it.

I do need to work out how to see Ten Inch Hero. Netflix gives me no joy.
