His PTSD was a casualty of the writers strike.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder what sort of PTSD you get from seeing yourself be a cold dick and then die.

Sammy was going to have some serious PTSD to deal with in the weeks following that. Do we ever see any?

Beverly was saying the writer's strike short-shrifted us on that one. Am bitter.

Because books.

I forgot about The End. I think the hardest thing would be seeing Sam's foot on his throat.

I read so much fic about Sam's reaction/PSTD following Mystery Spot, I almost feel like I saw it.

I do wonder about how much dissociation would be possible for that whole experience, and how much would be healthy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No rerun show talk today?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I barely got to see any of the first rerun this morning. I can't wait to get home and catch up on them.

Though I do have an episode title question, and random fanfic questions.

What episode is it that Dean walks in on Sam taking advantage of PPV pr0n? Or any other notable Dean "Awkward"?

Is it just SPN fic where people fist other people's shirts? In fact, it seems to be something the boys do to each other's clothes all the time.

Also, men keep huffing at each other. What is with that?

And to reiterate my season 5 fic beef--post 5.01, CASTIEL CANNOT JUST APPEAR IN THE IMPALA WHILE IT'S MOVING. He doesn't know where they are unless he's been told. People. Behave.

It's possible I've been doing too much reading.

I was working from home but K-Bug kept distracting me. I can balance working and SPN, but add K-Bug and it is too much. Plus Amy was at DMV, so I blame her too.

Hey!

I can picture that scene, ita. It's S2, I believe. Um. I'd have to look in the SuperWiki.

It's "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things," the one with their first zombie.

Thanks, Amy!

Wahh!

Dean admits to Sam about the torture. More great weeping from the Ackles.

Also, some excellent sexing from the Padasexi. I'm still irrationally mad at Ruby, but I'm not going to let that dampen the moment.

The Anna/Dean scene pales completely in comparison.

Interesting reaction shot from Castiel when Anna kisses Dean goodbye. Very inscrutable. And Heaven is talking trash about Dean/Castiel too...

Because books.

I don't even buy Dean/Castiel as in any way canon, but man, he looks pissed there, like, "You are kissing MY righteous man!"

The Padasex is so awesome in that ep, but it's a little weird knowing they're married now. I mean, I assume it's like me writing sex scenes for the romances -- no, they're not scenes from my marriage, but still.
