Here you go.

I apologize for xposting with P-C. I'm distracted by a husband on the roof. Not in a "Gramma's on the roof" way.

...all my words have been taken by my work. - Mala

I remember the first one but had no idea it was by the same person, or one of the collaborators anyway. They're both wonderful.

I think as an actor that would be the hardest thing for me to do would be having all the con people there to see me. It would make me very uncomfortable. I really do admire the people that are able to do it and be gracious at the same time. I would be kinda freaked out and it would be hard to hide that.

This. I'm astounded by how good natured they are considering the stuff they're asked. I admire the maturity with which they seem to handle the skeevier questions and the knowledge that their lives are essentially fodder for fictionalized porn on the internet. Kripke has been really very lucky with casting.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Yeah, I have people that I really didn't know in high school (but there is some kind of legitimate connection) that have added me on facebook. Every once in a while they will make a comment and I realize that they are keeping up with details of my life. Again, it is legitimate because they found an old "friend" (actually someone that knew my name but we never spoke). I wonder if it feels like that times a thousand.

I wouldn't be freaked out by any fic that someone had written with my name because that isn't me. I would be freaked by the person standing in front of me telling me that they adored me. "um. Thanks." ?

I'm sort of with Amy in that I'd like to sit in a corner with any of the J's (JDM, Jim, Jared, Jensen, Joe, Josh, Jubal--wait.) and talk acting technique. It's fun to hear stories from the set, or goofy stuff about the dogs or cars, or whatever. But I want to ask why they made that choice in the scene with the thing. And if the answer is "I forgot the line," or "We had to wrap for time," or "I felt he was really in a strange headspace. It was like that movie--that scene where he--yeah! That one. So it sort of felt right to sort of do that..." THAT's the kind of stuff I'd want to talk about, and man that would bore most of the "What did you give Jensen for his birthday?" question people.

I would like to just be there and listen while you and Amy do the talking. I love the type of questions that you guys would ask. I would be like Raj on The Big Bang Theory and whisper my questions in your ear for you to say outloud.

Because books.

Oh, I would totally want to ask the acting stuff. Like, what were you thinking about when JA was dying in the S3 finale, to JP. And what kinds of projects JA would like to do in the future, do either of them think they could do historical drama or a romantic comedy, etc. Oh! And if JA wants to direct, ever.

I'm nosey.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Amy I have watched almost the first season of SOA. I had a hard time with the bikers at first. They are supposed to be the cuddly teddy bears of Mask and instead were....psychopaths. But then I started thinking of it as a western and the bikes were horses and the land was without law. It's a little like Sopranos in terms of not having empathy for anyone in the series.

The most surprising thing is Katie Sagal scares me. She is wicked good in this by playing wicked bad.

And I have decided that Jax doesn't remind me of Heath Ledger but he did remind me of a young Brad Pitt. Blonde, blue-eyed isn't my thing either and it took me a couple movies to like Brad Pitt. His mannerisms while he was acting was what let me see how beautiful he looked on the outside. I think it is the same for me with Jax. I would never go for that type but he is very charismatic through his acting so he is becomming hotter to me.

Apologies for being completely off thread topic but this is where I was introduced to it so this is where I was reporting my findings.

Back to topic....I love JDM and I would ride on his bike any day.

Because books.

Theresa, the funniest thing is that the creator of SoA has said the basic story is based on Hamlet, which maps really well.

I think they all have some humanity in them, and watching when and where it's revealed is fascinating.

Um, on topic. I was listening to the soundtrack of Oliver! this morning (shut up) and it occurred to me that Sam could be Oliver and Dean could the Artful Dodger. I think Fagin is John, Bill Sikes is Azazel (making Nancy Ruby, sort of).

Discuss. Even if it's just to make fun of me.
