As I sit here sadly alone with my reruns. Sob.
In the second ep today, Sam's tentative "Something's up, huh?" (when Bobby says the other hunters aren't answering their phones) just kills me. The way he can still be the little brother, looking for guidance or reassurance, is so heartbreaking, especially when we know he can be badass demon-pulling Sam.
Another moment just like it is in Sympathy for the Devil when he asks Castiel, "Were you really dead?" He sounds so young at that moment, like there are still things he can't conceive of.
