Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just can't get over them getting over her threatening to kill him. At least Gordon thought he was saving the world.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Totally cliched. Just doesn't have to be sexualized. Which is, like, at least 75% of chicks in comics backstory/origin story/damage. I'd rather, at this point, if they have to use the abuse trope, have it be of the non-sexual variety. I mean, does a chick HAVE to get a copy of The Courage to Heal with her cape?

(Note: actual numbers hyperbole. But the complaint is one of long standing.)

Because books.

Well, for those of us who don't read comics, that's not going to ping. I just wanted something more creative.

I also want it to be tomorrow night. Now please.

I also also realized I may be writing girl!Winchesters in my own way, since I've got a mother and two daughters in this book who have powers/a life no one can know about. Oops?

But rape is the worst thing that can happen to you.

Well, unless you're a Winchester. Indubitably, losing your brother is worse.

I always liked that my Batgirl's father shot her and didn't teach her to speak. That's some sick shit.

Because books.

Yeah, that's pretty hardcore.

David Cain could show John Winchester how to raise killing machines.

Why has it taken me this long to think of John and Bruce Wayne imposing vengeance missions on their charges? I want Sam/Nightwing slash.

Nightwing is Robin?

t /Batman mythology fail

The one thing I would write if I had all the time in the world would be preseries fic of John raising Dean and Sam. A lot of if would be woobie kidfic, really -- John with a sick two-year-old Sam who won't give up his pacifier and indulgent stuff like that -- but also a good deal from John's POV, observing the boys at different ages and in different situations.

It's not just comics--it's sci-fi/fantasy, horror, almost anything with genre stamped on it. My eyes. They roll. Often.

Sam/Nightwing would rule. Esp with the mental casting of Matt Bomer as Dick. Which works way, way too well.

Nightwing is Robin?

Original flavor, although I accept all substitutes.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm for casting Matt Bomer in anything.
