Sure thing, Matt.

Supernatural 2: Why is it our job to save everybody?
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
So it turns out Previously on Point Dume, the soap parody best known for featuring Enver Gjokaj, also features Lauren Cohan! Together, even.
I think they just generally show it, ita.
Cool, thanks. Just trying to work out what's explicit and what might be fanon. Every time I've noticed, he's been nearer the door, and I can see it's something they do on purpose in production. Just wondering if it's something fans were keeping track of (like the 3.5 or whatever times Castiel has smiled) or something that they've mentioned in interview or commentary.
I haven't yet gotten to the point in the episode where Sam goes hard core, just up to the falling desk death. Oh, the woobiness of Sam is epic. He really should have had more PTSD from this than they gave time to.
Why did I think it was a piano? Too much Road Runner in my past.
The bed thing has been made much of in fanon and fic (and in fic they salt the doors and windows as a matter of course, everywhere) but I'm pretty sure it's just something they do on the show without making it explicit. In every motel room scene I can think of, Dean is nearer the door. God, even in A Very Supernatural Christmas, come to think of it, which is melt-worthy.
Insent, Matt. Let me know what you think.
I was listening to Enter Sandman on my way home, imagining the SPN imagery one could use for a whole vid of that, and wondering if it has ever been done well.
Then Mr. Boombastic by Shaggy comes on, and all I can see is a pimp!Dean video. I laughed until I cried, and I just kept crying.
Having watched the tail end of Mystery Spot, I am back down on the ground again though. I've read fic that deals with the emotional aftermath of this (most memorably nwhepcat's The Apotheosis of Wile E Coyote), but do we get to see it onscreen?
Jus In Bello time.
No, to my knowledge and in my opinion, they missed out on all the payoff of the damage Mystery Spot did to Sam. It was partly due to the strike and the loss of enough episode time to tell that story. But there was enough emotional and personality change that, to me at least, the effect was apparent.
Don't forget, in pre-strike order of episodes, Jus in Belo came before Mystery Spot, and there would have been a couple of eps to deal with MS fallout. I deeply regret the loss of that time and story. And not least because it at least a few of those eps would have been directed by Kim Manners.
Interesting. I didn't know that about the order. I had been looking at Sam's consideration of killing a virgin as part and parcel of the changes he went through in Mystery Spot.
Damn the strike-shortened season. Just sixteen episodes. Tragedy.
Poor Henricksen.
I'm left wondering again about Ruby and how early they had decided she was going to hang with Sam in S4. Because her ploy to get him to kill Lilith and open the seal would have been a wee bit glitched by her buying it in JiB. Or was she that sure they wouldn't have gone along with it?
She was a good bluffer, either way.
I always watch Jus In Bello and bemoan the true pure love Dean and Hendricksen surely would have shared, down the road.
Do we have anyone's word besides hers that the spell she was preparing would have actually destroyed her?
