I agree. I could fake it for awhile but too soon it would start taking its toll and then I would refuse to get out of bed. Dang, you need to send Colin some soup and blankets.
And Amy needs to send me some cupcakes.
eta: I'm hunting for citation now because I think the boys were talking about bonding over the practical jokes. There was something about an early tension that was turned into friendship. Which worked out well for all of us. I'll look for that into tomorrow because I have a feeling I won't find it easily.
Lee stole ALL the cupcakes. I have none!
At first glance, Vancouver doesn't seem *that* far away? But then you realize what the shooting schedule is like, and how few days off they have, and you get that they can't just up and fly home whenever they want, and that's really rough. It makes it understandable that JP bought a house there, just to give himself a *home* while they're doing the show.
Soup and blankets to JP too.
And then he sold it to move back to LA after S5, and...oopsie.
Did he? But aren't they still shooting S5?
Maybe the boys will be like RDA towards the end of Stargate or ASH at the end of the run of Buffy and will just make appearances.
Yes, he's already sold it, final about a month ago. Honestly, I think it was the house he'd bought for Sandy and him, and he didn't want to keep it for Genevieve and him. She's working in LA (Flash Forward), so he'd (or possibly they'd) already bought a house for them there.
I guess he'll be renting something in Van for the duration.

They are both contractually obligated to continue as written for the sixth season. If the network decides to renew SPN after S6, with his contract obligations over, I think Jared will run like a rabbit. They might get him back for guest appearances.
If Jensen gets another job, I think he'll leave, as well, after S6. But he is serious about his income, so unless he comes up with another job, if they want him back he might stay.

Where did you hear he was concerned about his income? I thought the one remark he made about finding work was pretty offhand, and more about finding and landing decent roles.
It's an impression I've gotten from comments he's made at various times. I could be reading in, but I've gotten the impression he'd rather be working than not, that he gets a little anxious if he doesn't have a current job. Which is totally normal, of course. I just hope it doesn't lead him to take a job because it's quick rather than wait for something better.
