Dean's sex scenes, at least judging from this, are perfectly nice and stuff, but the combination of insanity in JP's muscularity and the anger issues Sam had with the Ruby sex make his sex just smoking.
I tried to watch this, but a) it's set to cheesier music (less sappy, more hip hop porn), and b) it intercuts between the brother's sex scenes which just weirds me out, so although it's longer I didn't make it through.
Both of Dean's sex scenes -- Cassie and Anna -- are lower lit and much softer. I wonder if it has anything to do with JA not being as comfortable doing them.
JP, on the other hand, seems perfectly happy to dive right in, for which I'm forever grateful. Despite the anger in the scene with Ruby, the man(demon?)handling was smoking.
Despite, because of, whichever.
Today's episode, "Simon Said" wasn't one of my favourites. I think it's because the angst is so nothing compared to all the ends up going down in season 4. "Bloodlust" and the Gordon shenanigans, on the other hand, served as a really good precursor.
I'm wondering--how good are the odds that Castiel gets powered down and Bobby gets killed for an upcoming season 6?
BOBBY IS NOT GOING TO DIE.
(aka, LALALALALALA, I can't hear you)
If there's no season 6, I think one or more of the boys dies. If there is one...well, someone has to die, and I think fanservice points to Misha over Jim, shallowly. He's been all over the UK as the face of the show.
I would be
truly
impressed if Show kept him in the wheelchair.
Show is many things. Not often that sort of truly impressive.
Just this once, everyone should live.
Well, everyone who's not already dead.
I love Simon Said because I love Andy to bits. He's endearing, and I was sad and angry at his ultimate departure. There's also what's been fodder for some good vids, with Dean's uber-focus on Sam's unraveling: the hand on Sam's back as the camera moves to include Sam, then falling away as Dean's included in the shot, catching and easing Sam to the ground, and stopping and racing around the car to get to Sam during painful visions. I liked Dean's babbling confession under Andy's directive to "tell the truth," too, since Dean's usually working at obfuscatng what's actually going on in his head.
There's looking back and knowing what's ahead for them is so much worse than this. But at the time, what they were going through was wrenching, both for them and for the viewer.
Plus, knowing now that JP was looped on painkillers throughout shooting the ep is kind of fun.
